on rules of conduct in case of suspected or confirmed coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) infection in employees and students
of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce

 

  1. Due to the need to ensure safe and hygienic working and educational conditions during the state of an epidemic, I would like to remind you that the rules of conduct for suspected or confirmed coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) infection in employees and students of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce are set out in the Rector's Order No. 112/2020 of 21 May 2020.
  2. In accordance with the provisions of the Order in question, a person employed at JKU who, while on University premises, shows symptoms of an acute upper or lower respiratory tract infection (e.g. high fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing) should:
  1. immediately notify the Personal Affairs Office by calling
    (41) 3497223 or writing at zgloszenia@ujk.edu.pl
    and should immediately inform the immediate superior,
  2. immediately notify the sanitary-epidemiological station by telephone,
  3. immediately report directly to the infectious ward or observation/infectious disease ward:
  1. using own transportation,
  2. using sanitary transportation after calling 999 or 112 and reporting the above symptoms (in this case, the person should await transport in a designated room where they can be temporarily isolated from others).

  1. The procedure set out in point 2 applies respectively to JKU students, providing that information on the occurrence of symptoms of acute infection of the upper or lower respiratory tract (e.g. high fever, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing) should be communicated to the Department of Student and Doctoral Affairs by calling (41) 3497259 or writing at zgloszenia1@ujk.edu.pl.
  2. Persons employed at JKU and persons studying at JKU are required to notify the competent sanitary-epidemiological station as well as the university authorities in the case of becoming infected with coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), and additionally the university authorities about the quarantine imposed on them. The information addressed to the University authorities must be provided in the manner set out in points 2 and 3.

 

At the same time, it is recommended that employees and students who show symptoms of upper respiratory tract rhinitis while outside the University should consult their GP before starting work or coming to class.
