Subject: 2017 annual settlement

Please be advised that due to the entry into force of the Act of 9 March 2017 amending the Personal Income Tax Act, the PIT-12 and PIT-40 forms have been abolished. The effect of this is that it is no longer possible for the University to account for the 2017 income of employees.

All taxpayers will receive a PIT-11, on the basis of which they will be able to submit, by 15 April 2018, an PIT-WZ application for the preparation of their annual return to the tax office. On the basis of the data contained in the application, the authority will prepare the annual return for us. In addition, it is stll possible to perform settlement with the Tax Office on one's own.
