32nd SKN Conference Man and His Environment

JKU Science and Culture Centre
invites you to participate in the interdisciplinary|
32nd National Scientific Conference of Student Science Clubs
„Man and his environment”
under the patronage of His Magnificence Rector of JKU in Kielce prof. dr hab. Stanisław Głuszek

The aim of the conference is to exchange experiences in the field of conducted research and to integrate the student research community. We invite members of Student Science Clubs, students of undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as doctoral students.

Presentations can be submitted under three sections:

Section I covering the following areas:

- humanities,

- social sciences,

- theological sciences,

- art.

Section II covering the following areas:

- exact and natural sciences,

- medical and health sciences,

- agricultural sciences,

- engineering sciences,

poster section – all fields of science

 

The conference will be held on 20–21 April 2023 in Kielce at ul. Uniwersytecka 17 (building of the JKU Faculty of Humanities).

INFORMATION ON CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

Application for participation in the Conference should include:

1. Completed participation application form (Attachment 1 or 2),
2. Statements of the student concerning the processing of personal data (Attachment 3),
3. Work file (named according to the scheme: Surname.Firstname.ClubName.pdf, e.g. Kowalski. Jan.SKNGeografów.pdf) or a printed copy of the paper (written according to the template and in accordance with the editorial requirements – Attachment 4), or a poster in electronic form in PDF format (one A1 or A0 page), after supervisor's proofreading,
4. Scientific supervisor's opinion concerning the work (Attachment 5),
5. Proof of payment for participation in the conference.

The languages of the conference are Polish and English.

Works that do not meet the requirements of the Attachments will not be accepted for presentation during the conference.

The organiser introduces a limit of 5 papers and 2 posters submitted by members of one student science club. In addition, a student may be the author or co-author of one paper. A group representing one Club may consist of a maximum of 8 students and a supervisor. No more than two people can be authors of one work.

 

The costs of participating in the conference and issuing the publication are presented in the table.

In case of cancelling the participation in the conference later than 15.04.2023, the payment is non-refundable. The publication fee is also not refunded if the text is rejected by the Scientific Committee or a reviewer for not supplementing deficiencies and not making corrections.

INFORMATION ON THE POSSIBILITY OF SUBMITTING A PAPER
TO THE EDITORIAL OFFICE IN THE ELECTRONIC JOURNAL
„Zeszyty Studenckiego Ruchu Naukowego JKU w Kielcach”

 

1. In the case of persons publishing for the first time, the condition for publishing a paper consists in creating an account on the University Journals Platform of JKU in Kielce: https://www.ujk.edu.pl/wydawnictwo/ by 24.03.2023, then uploading the article file according to the instructions for authors of publications. Brief instructions can be found in the attachment at: https://www.ujk.edu.pl/webujk/resources/2023/styczen/KSKN-WYMOGI-REDAKCYJNE.pdf It is necessary to make all changes and corrections included in the review. A decision, concerning publishing an a paper, is made by the reviewers and the journal's Scientific Committee.
