Career development

Academic staff are employed in teaching, research and teaching, or research staff groups, in the following positions:

1. Professor;
2. University Professor;
3. Assistant Professor;
4. Assistant

Within the research or research and teaching staff group, academic staff are also employed as Visiting Professors.

The principles for promoting academic staff to the position of University Professor or Assistant Professor in the group of teaching, research and teaching, or research staff at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce are defined by the individual Scientific Councils of Institutes/Departments.

The procedure for submitting applications for promoting academic staff to the positions of University Professor or Assistant Professor in the group of teaching, research and teaching, or research staff at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce is set out by theRector's Order No. 164/2020.
