The postgraduate course in Labour Law, payroll, and social insurance is aimed at those wishing to broaden their knowledge and develop their skills, in particular at employees of HR and payroll services, employees of insurance services and managers of institutions - university graduates.

  • Employee and non-employee forms of employment - lecture 10 hrs.
  • Establishing, changing, and terminating an employment relationship - lecture 10 hrs.
  • Legal labour protection - lecture 10 hrs.
  • Working time - lecture 5 | exercise 5.
  • Social and health insurance of employees and social benefits - lecture 20 | exercise 5
  • Special leave - lecture 5 hrs.
  • Documentation of employment relationship - lecture 5 hrs.
  • Tax law of labour relationships and civil law contracts - lecture 10 | exercise 5
  • Remuneration and other employment benefits - lecture 10 | exercise 5

Dates
  • The course will be launched in the academic year 2023/2024.
  • Classes will start in November 2023.
  • Recruitment will begin in June 2023.
Documents required for recruitment
  • application for admission to postgraduate studies - personal form (printed from the electronic recruitment system),
  • photocopy of diploma confirming completing at least undergraduate degree studies with the original to be submitted for certification by JKU,
  • confirmation of performing the payment of the recruitment fee.

Classes are carried out in the form of meetings two or three times a month on Saturdays and Sundays. A detailed schedule of meetings will be provided once the studies are launched.

A prerequisite for graduating from postgraduate studies consists in the student achieving all learning outcomes provided in the course curriculum (the postgraduate student is obliged to pass all the classes provided in the postgraduate program, write a diploma thesis, and obtain 30 ECTS credits).

The recruitment fee is PLN 85.
The fee for the entire study is PLN 2500.

Payable in two equal instalments:
First instalment – payable by the day of the first classes in the winter semester,
Second instalment – payable by the day of the first classes in the summer semester.

The individual bank account number for the payment is provided via the Wirtualna Uczelnia (Virtual University) system.
