of the Rector of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce

on counteracting the spread of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2)

among the academic community of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce

 

 

Based on Article. 23 par. 1 and para. 2 point 2, art. 50 para. 1 of the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574, as amended) and § 28 para. 1-2, § 29 points 2, paragraphs 22-23 of the Statute of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce,
in connection with the Act of March 2, 2020 on specific solutions related to preventing, counteracting and combating COVID-19, other infectious and induced diseases Crisis situations (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 2095, as amended), is managed as follows:

 

§ 1

At Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce (hereinafter referred to as the University or JKU),
the following rules are in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) among the academic community:

  1. education in the University during the state of epidemic takes place on the terms specified, inter alia, in:
  • Order No. 5/2022 of the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of February 2, 2022 on the organization of education in the summer semester of the academic year 2021/2022 at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce;
  • Order No. 210/2020 of the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce
    of September 30, 2020 on the principles of conducting classes as well as conducting credits, examinations and diploma examinations by means of distance learning methods and techniques;
  1. trips abroad and arrivals from foreign students, PhD students and employees under the Erasmus+ program and other academic exchange programs resulting from separate agreements, are carried out with the security measures and principles applicable to the receiving institution; International academic exchange takes place taking into account the epidemic situation and regulations in force in the target country;
  2. the use of the University Library is allowed to maintain applicable sanitary safety standards set out in the law and decisions, recommendations and guidelines of the competent state authorities; Detailed rules for using the University Library Specifies the Library Director;
  3. using the JKU Archive is allowed to maintain applicable sanitary safety standards, specified in the law and decisions, recommendations and guidelines of the competent state authorities; Detailed rules for using the JKU Archive determines the Archive manager;
  4. using the University Sports Center is allowed to maintain applicable sanitary safety standards, specified in the law and decisions, recommendations and guidelines of the competent state authorities; detailed rules for using  the University Sports Center determines the University Sports Center manager;
  5. events, scientific, artistic, cultural and sports events can be organized by the University after obtaining the consent of the Rector or another person authorized by him, with the applicable standards of sanitary safety, specified in the law and decisions, recommendations and guidelines of the competent state authorities; Recommend to the abovementioned Events and events were - as far as possible - transmitted online using available websites or IT systems;
  6. in facilities of the University following rules are applied:
  1. inside buildings (at the entrances) are placed devices for hand disinfection with appropriate bilingual information (in Polish and English); for the development and disposal of the above information correspond to the administrators of object data; persons entering buildings are obliged to use the above devices;
  2. workers providing work on positions related to continuous service of clients (including offices, office points, concierges, dean’s offices) are secured in accordance with publicly available sanitary guidelines for this type of positions;
  3. the obligation to maintain in research / teaching rooms of such a social distance
    is determined, as it is possible and justified due to organizational, technical
    and infrastructure conditions,
  4. entrance doors to didactic / research rooms should be opened in advance to limit the possibility of accumulating people before starting classes;
  5. the obligation to ventage didactic / research rooms after leaving each group of people; The obligation to plan a break between individual activities, allowing ventilation and secure leaving / entering the room with the principles of social distance;
  6. classes in didactic / research rooms are conducted with the preservation of security procedures, which include, among others:
  • mandatory hand disinfection,
  • disinfection of devices (if possible with respect to a given device),
  • extending the availability of research and laboratory infrastructure within a day;
  1. details of the operation of specific didactic / research spaces referred to in region.
    f determine the right deans; 
  2. the obligation to systematically disinfect door handles, handrails, chairs, benches, etc.; for determining the schedules for conducting disinfection and verification of the fulfillment
    of this obligation corresponds to the administrators of the University facilities;
  3. the obligation of systematic disinfection of toilets is determined; In each toilet, soap, one-time paper towels and a liquid for alcohol-based hand disinfection; for determining the Disinfection schedules toilets and verification of completing this duties corresponds to the administrators of the University facilities;
  1. supervisor may recommend the employee to carry out obligations in remote work mode, (on its own initiative or at the justified request of the employee) specifying the scope and time of work in this form; The supervisor of the employee undertakes to maintain contact with an employee performing remote work, its supervision and settlement; Rector or supervisor may summon the employee at any time to perform work in a place indicated in the employment contract;
  2. catering establishments, operating in university buildings, can conduct activities related to the provision of services in the University, after obtaining the consent of the Rector or another person authorized by the Rector, with applicable sanitary safety standards, specified in the law and decisions, recommendations and appropriate guidelines State authorities;
  3. detailed rules for conducting meetings of collegial entities in remote mode using information technology and the rules for adopting resolutions in circulation, correspondence or electronic mode at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, defines the Order No. 141/2021 Rector of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of October 1, 2021.

 

 

§ 2

  1. Managers of University organizational units are obliged to guarantee their proper functioning, including in particular to ensure the continuity of customer service on the seat of the entity, while maintaining the applicable sanitary safety standards specified in the law and decisions, recommendations and guidelines of the competent state authorities.
  2. Managers of University organizational units are obliged to become familiar with information and announcements regarding the counteracting the spread of coronavirus (SARS-COV-2), announced by: Council of Ministers, Ministry of Education and Science, the main sanitary inspector.

 

§ 3

Shall be repealed:

  1. Order No. 29/2021 of the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of February 11th 2021 on the introduction of rules of conduct in the event of suspicion or coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) infection in employees and students at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce;
  2. Order No. 41/2021 of the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of March 3, 2021 on the introduction of the Instruction of Procedure at the University Sports Center of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce in relation to the prevention, counteraction and combating of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2);
  3. Order No. 140/2021 of the Rector of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of October 1, 2021 on the principles regarding securing employees and persons educating in the buildings of the University of John Kochanowski in Kielce in connection with the state of epidemic;
  4. Order No. 142/2021 of the Rector of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce of October 1, 2021 on counteracting the spread of coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) among the academic community of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce amended by order no. 167/2021 of the Rector of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.

 

§ 4

The order comes into force on the day of signing.
