on the organization of education in the winter semester of the academic year 2021/2022
at the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce

Pursuant to Article 23, section 1 and section 2 point 2, Article 50, section 1 of the Act of July 20, 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 478, as amended), § 28, sections 1-2, § 29 point 2, points 22-23 of the Statute of the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce in connection with the Act of March 2, 2020 on specific solutions related to preventing, counteracting and combating COVID-19, other infectious diseases and crisis situations caused by them (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 2095) the following is ordered:

§ 1

1. In the winter semester of the academic year 2021/2022, classes in degree programs, postgraduate programs, doctoral programs and other forms of education shall be held at the premises of the University or at the premises of the branch, subject to section 2.
2. Lectures in groups of more than 30 people are held with the use of distance learning methods and techniques, unless the Rector decides otherwise at the request of the Dean of the faculty/branch.
3. Student internships are conducted in-person at an organization’s workplace. However, in exceptional cases, they may be done in other forms, including the use of distance learning methods and techniques.

§ 2

1. Didactic classes conducted at the premises of the University or its branch shall be carried out under the applicable sanitary regime and in accordance with the generally applicable provisions of law, as well as decisions, recommendations and guidelines of the competent sanitary authorities.
2. Detailed rules on the protection of the employees and students during classes at the University are included in the Rector’s separate order.

§ 3

Detailed rules for conducting classes and conducting credits, exams and diploma examinations with the use of distance learning methods and techniques are regulated by the Rector’s separate order.

§ 4

In the event of a change in the epidemic situation or in other justified cases, it is allowed to modify the organization of education in the winter semester of the academic year 2021/2022.

§ 5

Order No. 119/2021 of the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce of August 25, 2021 on the organization of education in the winter semester of the academic year 2021/2022 at the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce becomes void.

§ 6

The order enters into force on the day it is signed, with effect from December 1, 2021.
