We would like to inform you that from 10.07.2023 to 10.07.2023 applications will be accepted for the project „ACCELERATOR OF DEVELOPMENT for the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce – training „Maintaining the continuity of IT systems – planning, good practices, documentation”
Training addressees: management and administrative staff. A maximum of 1 person will be recruited for training
Training objective: deepening the knowledge concerning business continuity of IT systems.
Training topics: planning system continuity, continuity planning standards, operation continuity and cyber security, aspects of operation continuity in information security, identifying operation continuity risks, downtime recovery procedures, testing plans and security, monitoring and updating plans.

Training addressees: management and administrative staff. A maximum of 2 persons will be recruited for training
Training objective: deepening the knowledge concerning methods of protecting a network from threats, techniques of conducting penetration tests of an infrastructure (a variant of security auditing), tools facilitating the implementation of security tests.
Training topics: Penetration testing – as a method of testing network security. Useful methodologies and documentation (OSSTMM, ISSAF, CIS, NIST, OWASP Testing Guide, and others). Interception of any packages, their modification, and retransmission (scapy software).
Network security – Ethernet. Selected security issues of protocols operating between switches. Layer 3 security of the OSI model. Scanning TCP/UDP ports on a selected server. Firewalls. IPsec security. Security of routing protocols. Web security. IPS (Intrusion Prevention System) class systems and application firewalls. Bypassing the authentication mechanism in a sample application (using gdb, modifying a stack)

Training objective: deepening the knowledge concerning the architecture, objects, structure, and user management principles, gaining the practical skills necessary to independently configure and administer Microsoft Active Directory services
Training topics: architecture and management of AD DS services taking advantage of graphical tools and Windows PowerShell, integration of DNS Server and AD DS services, installation and configuration of domain controllers on the basis of Windows Server 2019, migration of AD DS services, monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring operation continuity of AD DS services.
