We would like to inform you that we are launching a call for application forms to participate in the national internship - „Internship at the Witold Chodźko Institute of Rural Medicine in Lublin – approx. 30 days” aimed at improving the teaching competences in the field of innovative teaching skills, implemented as part of the project „WINDOW TO THE WORLD – integrated program of JKU in Kielce for the development of the Świętokrzyskie region”. The internship program will involve the intern carrying out a minimum of 20h of internship activities per week. A trainee logbook with and a program will be created to record the activities. In order to coordinate the proper course of the internship, an internship supervisor from the centre to which the intern has been sent will be provided, whose task will be to provide substantive and organisational support. One of the elements of the internship program will also be to prepare the teaching staff to teach in a non-stereotypical and equal way that allows women and men to be equally included in all types of classes. The aim of the internships will also consist in raising the awareness that jobs in the medical industry are equally available to women and men including women and men with various levels of ability and from various backgrounds.
The aim of the internship is for JKU teaching staff to acquire skills useful for conducting research and teaching work, to exchange experience in terms of educational methods and techniques, to establish scientific cooperation, and to improve their teaching workshop. Participation in an internship at leading national centres intends to enable academic staff (particularly staff involved in the learning process in modified subjects) to improve their skills in terms of conducting classes.
The completed application form, found in the attachment, should be submitted between 10.01.2023 and 16.01.2023 in paper form directly to the person responsible for the project – Tomasz Marwicki room 303 in the JKU Rector's Office building, Kielce ul. Żeromskiego 5 at 8.00 - 15.00.

Advanced Life Support (ALS) - Advanced resuscitation in adults
Introducing the concept of resuscitation teams. Train managers and members of resuscitation teams in terms of properly handling adults suffering from cardiac arrest and the circumstances occurring before and around cardiac arrest.
Candidates should have professional experience and relevant medical qualifications. -
European Pediatric Advanced Life Support (EPALS)- Advanced resuscitation in children
Training medical staff in the early recognition of a child in respiratory or circulatory distress. Candidates should have professional experience and relevant medical qualifications.

Call for the recruitment of teaching staff employed at the Medical College for training OSCE EXAMINER (Objective Structured Clinical Examination)
The Objective Structured Clinical Examination, is a tool for assessing clinical skills. It constitutes the most commonly used method in evaluating student learning outcomes. During the course, participants will learn from the practical aspect of how to conduct the OSCE exam correctly.

Recruitment for the project „WINDOW TO THE WORLD – integrated programme of JKU in Kielce for the development of the Świętokrzyskie region” in the scope of participation in training courses increasing didactic competences of academic staff
We would like to inform you that we are announcing a call for application forms for participation in a foreign internship at the Catholic University in Ružomberok aimed at improving the competences in terms of innovative teaching skills, carried out as part of the project „WINDOW TO THE WORLD – integrated programme of JKU in Kielce for the development of the Świętokrzyskie region”.
The aim of the project is to improve the quality, efficiency, accessibility, and functioning of the education system at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce through developing and implementing an Integrated Development Programme, in line with the RSI of the Świętokrzyskie voivodeship in the period 01.09.201. – 31.08.2023.
The subject of the project in the module on management in higher education institutions consists in improving the teaching competences of staff in the higher education system during an internship at the Catholic University of Ružomberok.
TRAINING TOPICS
1. Preparing the teaching staff to carry out classes in a non-stereotypical and equal way that enables women and men to be involved equally in each type of activity
2. The university's development is linked to improving the quality of education, which is inextricably linked not only to the development of the substantive competence of academic staff, but also to the development of teaching competences.
3. Increasing the quality of higher education and matching it to the needs of society and the economy
Catholic University of Ružomberok - Slovakia: a trip to a foreign research centre with the aim of gaining additional skills useful for further research and teaching work at JKU in Kielce and exchanging experiences, especially
in terms of training methods and techniques. The experience and skills gained during the internship abroad such as conducting didactics and creating the curriculum
in a multi-cultural student environment, will significantly strengthen communication skills and enhance the capital of the JKU teaching staff. The internship will be of a teaching nature, with the aim of increasing the teaching capacity and enriching the educational offer as well as improving the quality of education. Skills acquired by the JKU teaching staff that are useful for conducting research and teaching work, exchanging experience
in the field of educational methods and techniques, will help to establish scientific cooperation and improve the teaching workshop.

Pontifical Salesian University of Rome: is a university characterised by a high level of interculturalism. The university includes courses studied by students from 15 nationalities. Education is provided in 5 languages. The aim of the internship will primarily be to learn the methods of workshop work with a foreign student. Conducting support programs participated by international students, i.e. working with stress, learning how to learn, crisis intervention, etc., requires workshop and individual work with the student. If other nationalities appear in the group, the need arises to extend one's existing working methods with methods and tools that are appropriate and acceptable for the nationality in question. Due to its extensive experience in this regard, PSU in Rome is the perfect place to learn how to teach students from various nationalities. The acquired teaching competences will be used when working with students.
