R1 - First stage researcher

Possessing the professional degree of Master of Science, Master of Engineering, or equivalent, until completion of a doctorate.

NECESSARY COMPETENCES:

• demonstrates advanced knowledge within the scientific represented discipline;
• has the ability to analyse data and conduct research under supervision;
• has the ability to critically analyse research results, evaluate and formulate, new and complex ideas;
• is able to handle a discussion among researchers, explain research results (and present their value for the development of the discipline);
• has the ambition of developing knowledge and methodology in the represented discipline

DESIRED COMPETENCES:

has the language skills to communicate on specialised topics to a degree that allows to actively participate in an international environment.
