The Doctoral Student Forum is a seminar for the exchange of thoughts, experiences and ideas within the framework of the broadly understood interdisciplinarity of scientific research carried out at JKU. The forum is also aimed at prospective doctoral students pursuing their scientific passions as part of their thesis or master's thesis and activities in Student Scientific Clubs.
The Doctoral Forum will include sessions in the following sections:
1) humanities,
2) science and natural sciences,
3) health sciences
4) social sciences and the arts.
Participation in the Doctoral Forum is free of charge within the paper or poster session.
The paper session is aimed at JKU doctoral students who have not initiated a doctoral examination yet. For them, session attendance is compulsory and is equivalent to a progress report on their dissertation. The 10-minute presentation (MS PowerPoint presentation) consists of information including the thesis concept/initial research (applies to 1st year PhD students) or research progress over the past academic year (applies to 2nd, 3rd, 4th year PhD students). For doctoral students who have initiated a doctoral examination, participation in the paper session is optional. Papers may be presented in Polish or English. Work presented in English will receive a bonus in general score.
All doctoral students' papers presented in the paper session will be nominated for the Prodomus Rector's Award in each discipline.
Poster session is aimed at JKU students and doctoral students from other Universities. A poster with maximum dimensions (width × height) of 85 cm × 120 cm should contain the following information: title, name of author(s), affiliation, contact, introduction to the topic, methods, results, conclusions, literature.

The electronically completed application form should be sent no later than 10 May 2019 to the following email address: ursd@ujk.edu.pl. The abstracts will be published electronically in the book of abstracts of the 3rd Doctoral Students Forum of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce on the Forum website.
