Videoconferences

The system owned by the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce allows for "point-to-point" videoconferencing and, using the capabilities of the Science Service Platform "Platon", group videoconferencing.

We are equipped with 2 stationary sets located at the following locations:

• Uniwersytecka 19 - r. 4.09 - conference room
  (capacity 15 persons)

• Collegium Medicum ul. IX Wieków Kielc 19a - Faculty Council Room
  (capacity 30 persons)

The Polycom HDX 7000 set includes:

• 50'' Monitor,
• terminal, camera microphone,
• Internet connection,

The system is operated by means of a remote control with which, among other things, you can:

• see on the screen and hear the participants at the meeting,
• adjust the camera's field of view, thanks to the fact that it is a PTZ camera equipped with automatic focus and zoom,
• send and receive a computer presentation,
• simultaneously view on the screen: the image you are connecting to, yourself, a computer presentation, or select one of the options listed above in full screen,
• adjust the volume.

The university also has a mobile kit (without a monitor):

• it is necessary to provide a monitor or projector.
