Quality internships as a route to employment
Project titled: 'Quality internships as a route to employment' no. POWR.03.01.00-00-S183/15 implemented by Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce 'Grono Targowe Kielce.'
The project is co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund, Axis III Higher education for the economy and development, Measure 3.1 Competences in higher education of the Operational Programme 'Knowledge Education Development 2014 - 2020.'
Aims and objectives of the project
1. The main objective of the project is to improve competences corresponding to the needs of the modern labour market and expected by employers through the organisation of high quality internships in the period 01.04.2017-31.01.2019.
2. The project is aimed at 250 people (185W/65M) - final year students of Management, Economics, Administration, and Political Science at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce.
3. The project comprises four tasks:
Task 1 Delivering high quality internships for Management field of study
Support, in the form of a 3-month internship, will be provided to 50 students of Management.
Task 2 Delivering high quality internships for Economics field of study
Support, in the form of a 3-month internship, will be provided to 55 students of Economics.
Task 3 Delivering high quality internships for Administration field of study
Support in the form of 3-month internships will be provided to 80 students of Administration.
Task 4 Delivering high quality internships for Political Science field of study
Support in the form of 3-month internships will be provided to 5 students of Political Science.
