Name: Project 'Thermomodernisation of JKU educational and administrative buildings at ul. Żeromskiego 5 in Kielce' is co-financed within the framework of the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014 – 2020, Priority Axis I Reducing the emissivity of the economy, Measure 1.3 Supporting energy efficiency in buildings, Sub-measure 1.3.1 Supporting energy efficiency in public buildings.

Funding agreement number: POIS.01.03.01-00-0005/16 of 31-03-2017.

Implementation period: 23.01.2016 – 31.12.2018

Project objectives: The aim of the project is to reduce sources of low emissions by carrying out thermal modernisation of the educational and administrative buildings of JKU located at 5 Żeromskiego Street, i.e., The Rector's Office, the publishing house warehouse, the archive and the garages, and the installation of a system based on renewable energy sources, which will contribute to reduction of the building's heating demand, reducing sources of low emissions and capturing solar energy.

Direct objectives: to reduce the heating energy demand of buildings, to reduce the amount of fuel used, to reduce the maintenance costs of facilities incurred for heating, to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, to increase the comfort of building users, to increase the aesthetics of public spaces by renovating the facades of facilities.

Intermediate objectives: to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the heating system, reduce maintenance costs of the facilities, improve the quality of the environment, increase the comfort of the facilities, improve the aesthetics of the buildings.

Planned effects: The implementation of this project will have a direct impact on the socio-economic environment by achieving a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, a decrease in the amount of final energy consumption or the amount of electricity saved.

Long-term benefits: improved air quality as a result of reduced CO2 emissions, preservation of environmental requirements, resource efficiency adapted to climate change, protection of biodiversity.

 

Value of the project: Total gross value of the project is PLN 4 322 710.43, eligible gross cost is PLN 4 293 826.46,

 

European Funds contribution: The gross amount of the grant is PLN 3 649 752.49.

An irregularity is any infringement of EU law or national law relating to the application of EU law resulting from an act or omission by an economic operator involved in the implementation of the EFSI which has, or would have, the effect of prejudicing the EU budget by charging unjustified expenditure to the EU budget.

The principles that the MA follows in considering the applications submitted:

  • - Each submission is protected against unauthorised access. The information covered by the report, which enables the identification of the person making the report, will be protected both during the investigation of the case, during possible preventive measures and in the future and will only be made available to authorised officials and officers of the relevant services.
  • - All applications will be scrupulously processed in accordance with the internal procedures of the Managing Authority of the Infrastructure and Environment Programme and the provisions of commonly applicable law.
  • - If the person making a report via email wishes to remain anonymous, the report will be fully anonymised (the reporter's personal details and other identifying features will be removed from the report) before it is possibly forwarded for investigation.
  • - In the case of submissions (mainly anonymous) that will be incomplete and there will be no opportunity to complete this information, there is a risk that such a Submission cannot be processed.
