(2nd call)
'High-Quality Internships for Artists and Educators'
We would like to invite students to paid, profiled internships within the project 'High Quality Internships for Artists and Educators', co-financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.
In the 2017/2018 academic year, internships are open to the 3rd year students of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce from the following fields of study:
- Journalism and Social Communication
- Polish Philology,
- Philology: English Philology; German Philology, Russian Philology,
- History
- Design,
- Artistic Education in the Visual Arts
Information on internships:
The internship comprises 480 hours of internship tasks carried out over a period of
16 weeks, with a system of 30 hours of internship tasks performed
per week. Internships will take place between July 2018 and October 2018. Interns participating in high quality internship programmes will receive an internship stipend of PLN 13.85 net per hour of internship assignment. Please refer to the Project Regulations for further details.
Recruitment criteria:
- grade point average from the last completed semester of study (number of points = grade point average):
verification based on a certificate from the Dean's Office/Institute;
- documented activity in scientific clubs, student organisations, volunteering (0-5 pts):
- activities in a scientific club: max. 2 pts
verification based on a certificate from the supervisor of the scientific club:
1 point – for activities/participation in one club
2 points – for activities/participation in two or more club
- activity in a student organisation other than a scientific club: max. 2 pts.
verification on the basis of certificate from the student organisation
1 point – in the case of activities/participation in one organisation
2 points – in the event of activity/participation in two or more organisations
- activities in a voluntary/charitable organisation max. 1 point
verification based on a certificate from a voluntary/charitable organisation
1 point – in the case of activities/participation in one organisation
2 points – in the event of activity/participation in two or more organisations
- participation in the activities/support of the Academic Career Service (ACS) (0-5 points):
verification based on a certificate from the Academic Career Office or a document confirming the student's participation in ACS actions/support.
1 point – for participation in one activity (ACS action/support)
2 pts – in the case of participation in two activities (ACS action/support)
5 points - in case of participation in three or more activities (ACS action/support)
- Bonus criterion: disability certificate - 2 points.

as defined by the Act of 27 August 1997 on vocational and social
rehabilitation and employment of disabled persons (JoL of 2018, item 511) This may include, in particular, a disability certificate issued by a regional disability assessment team and certificates issued by Social Security evaluation specialists and other equivalent certificates (KRUS, uniformed services, etc.)
Application for participation in the project is made by submitting an application form together with with all necessary documents/photocopies, confirming the fulfilment of the recruitment criteria specified in the project regulations. Copies of documents enclosed with the application form must be certified 'true to the original' by the Candidate for the project
Documents will be accepted from 23 April 2018 to 30 April 2018, 12:00 pm by the study supervisors at the institutes in the Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Pedagogy and Arts.

Internships are not available to students from the Erasmus+ programme.
