We invite you to learn more about the rules of participation in the free project 'Competence development programme as a way of creative development for JKU students' offering a package of educational activities improving professional, communication, analytical and entrepreneurial competences. The support is directed to students of the last 4 semesters of full-time studies of the first cycle in the fields of: Journalism and Social Communication and Pedagogy with specialisation in early childhood education with corrective-compensational gymnastics, early childhood and pre-school education with English language teaching, early childhood and pre-school education with pedagogical therapy.

 

 

  1. Scheduled tasks within the project for students of Journalism and Social Communication:
  1. Workshops/training:
  • How to cope with stress – 8h/group
  • Linguistic etiquette in the work of a journalist – 10h/group
  • Development of professional competences necessary for a TV journalist and media worker – 20h/group
  • Public Relations training including a certificate from the London School of Public Relations – 32h
  1. Practical tasks carried out in project form:
  • Project teams 'JKU NEWSROOM' * 4 groups (1 group = 5 persons * 30h)

Purpose of the classes: to allow Project Participants to develop practical skills in planning, conducting and evaluating promotional campaigns in cooperation with the local media and the University Media Centre. Students will participate in project teams (5 students together with an employer representative and a JKU employee) – developing promotional campaign elements using various media.

 

  1. Scheduled tasks within the project for students of PEDAGOGY specialisation: early childhood education with corrective-compensational gymnastics, early childhood and pre-school education with English language teaching, early childhood and pre-school education with pedagogical therapy:

  • Innovative Educational Programme Workshops
  • Certified training in Sensory Integration
  • Workshop Musicalisation of children using the Carl Orff method
  • Certified training course 'Diagnosis in sensory integration therapy'
  • Workshop 'Active listening to music – Batia Strauss method'
  • Workshops 'Supervision of the folklore dance groups'
  • Certified Animator Course
  • Certified training in Veronica Sherborne's Developmental Movement Method
  1. Additional activities carried out together with employers: 20h: students will carry out workshops with pre-school and early school age children to stimulate their development.
  2. Additional practical tasks for students carried out in project form: 20h: Realisation of an outdoor project in the Artists' Square of the city of Kielce.
