Project DEVELOPMENT ACCELERATOR for Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce,
co-financed by the European Social Fund as part of the Operational Programme 'Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020', Priority Axis III Higher Education for the Economy and Development, Measure 3.5 Comprehensive programmes of higher education institutions under agreement no. POWR.03.05.00-00-Z212/18 concluded with the National Centre for Research and Development.

Project period: from 01.08.2019 to 31.12.2023.

Project objective

The project will include following modules:

• first and second cycle degree curricula,
• enhancement of students' competences,
• support of the provision of services by Academic Career Office,
• organisation of doctoral schools,
• enhancement of the teaching competences of academic staff.
• management in higher education institutions.

Target group

The project will cover students of JKU of the first and second cycle studies as well as of master's uniform studies, doctoral students, teaching and administrative staff, managerial
cadre and leaders of JKU.

The project will result in:

• modification of programmes in 31 fields of study,
• strengthening the competences expected by employers by 1715 students,
• setting up a doctoral school and support of 22 doctoral students in their scientific development,
• provision of counselling to assist 900 students in entering the labour market,
• support for the training process of 50 members of the academic staff,
• support for the upgrading of managerial and administrative skills of 60 people,
• implementation of IT tolls for managing and sharing information
  on higher education.
