Wydział Sztuki Uniwersytetu Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach zaprasza na trzydniowe sympozjum artystyczne pt. “Designing Europe: Polish–Turkish Perspectives in Poster Art. Art & Design Symposium”. Wydarzenie odbędzie się w dniach 28-30 października 2025 r. (wtorek-czwartek) w Instytucie Sztuk Wizualnych przy ul. Podklasztornej 117.
Przedsięwzięcie jest wynikiem współpracy Wydziału Sztuki UJK w Kielcach z Kütahya Dumlupınar University w Turcji.
Program wydarzenia:
Dzień 1 / 1st day (28 października / October 28)
The first day will begin at Jan Kochanowski University with a visit to the National Museum in Kielce (11.00 am), offering an opportunity to explore the cultural relations and artistic influences shared by Turkey and Poland throughout history. The program will then continue at the Institute of Design in Kielce, followed by a transfer to the Faculty of Art at UJK for ice-breaking and introductory activities between Turkish and Polish students and lecturers. In the afternoon, participants will visit the art and design studios Institute of Visual Arts, concluding with a tour of the Center for Contemporary Art ArtLAB, where the exhibition Man Does Not Live by Posters Alone (curated by dr Wojciech Domagalski) is on view—an international presentation of posters, graphic art, and painting accompanying the 29th International Poster Biennale in Warsaw.

10:00–13:00 Design Session I: research, brainstorming, concept sketches, first visual explorations

14:00–17:00 Design Session II: developing concepts, manual and digital work
17:00–18:00 Group consultation and collective discussion of progress.

09:00–12:00 Design Session III: finalizing posters and preparing works for presentation
12:00–13:00 Summary session: selection of works and preparation of captions/texts
13:00–15:00 Exhibition set-up at the Corner Gallery (installation, arrangement, curatorial coordination)
