'Man and His Environment'
under the patronage of the HM Rector of JKU in Kielce

Deadline for submissions: 2 March 2018
The invitation is addressed to the students of the first, second and third cycle studies, members of Student Scientific Clubs of universities in Poland and abroad.
The conference has an interdisciplinary character. Presentations in the form of papers may be submitted
within the sections of Humanities and Social Sciences or Natural Sciences and Economics. Posters will be presented in a separate section, common to all scientific disciplines. The language of the conference is Polish.
The organiser introduces a limit of 5 papers and 2 posters submitted by members of a single Student Scientific Club. In addition, a student may be the author or co-author of only one work. A group representing one Club may consist of a maximum of 8 students and a supervisor. No more than 2 people can be authors of one paper.

Application for participation (Annex 1 and 2) and a printout of the text of the paper (prepared according to the editorial requirements in Annex 3), opinion of the scientific supervisor of the paper (Annex 4), and proof of payment for participation in the conference should be submitted to the Centre for Science and Student Culture of JKU in Kielce, ul. Śląska 15, Room 8, no later than 2 March 2018.
In addition, a file with the paper (following the name format of 'Surname.First name.SSC….pdf/doc. e.g., John.Smith.GeographicSSC.doc) to: sekretariatkskn@ujk.edu.pl. by the deadline of 2 March 2018.
Presenters will be provided with whiteboards and multimedia projectors. The author's poster for the poster session should be displayed before the start of the conference in a place prepared by the organisers.
Submissions that do not meet the requirements presented in the Annexes, might not be accepted for presentation at the conference.
For those of you who are interested in using accommodation, we are making reservations at Jan Kochanowski University Student Houses at ul. Śląska 15 in Kielce. The price of accommodation PLN 27 for a student is and PLN 37 for a supervisor. Participants cover the cost of accommodation on their own.
The cost of participation in the conference is shown in the table below and includes: participation
in the conference, conference materials, coffee service and refreshments during breaks in the proceedings, a festive banquet at the end of the conference, and a publication.

- All students actively participating in the conference are at the same time taking part in the conference competition of the Conference of Student Scientific Clubs of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce 'Man and his environment.'
- The aim of the competition is to identify the best forms (papers, posters, etc.) presented during the conference.

Information about the possibility of publishing a paper in a journal
'Zeszyty Studenckiego Ruchu Naukowego UJK w Kielcach';

or volume 27/2 (Natural and Economic Sciences) in 2018
- All students presenting scientific papers at the conference have the opportunity to publish an article in the journal mentioned above.
- Those submitting a paper for publication by 30. 04.2018 must create their own account on the University Journals Platform of JKU in Kielce: https://www.ujk.edu.pl/wydawnictwo/, then follow the instructions for authors. Brief instructions for creating your own account on the University Journals Platform of JKU in Kielce can be found at this link.
The prerequisite for publication of the paper is a positive scientific review of the article by the Reviewer of the journal (so-called anonymous review, or 'blind review') and the approval of the Scientific Council of the journal.
