on the epidemiological threat of coronavirus (COVID-19)
In connection with the World Health Organization (WHO) communication on the epidemiological risk of coronavirus (causing COVID-19) and increasing the global risk of coronavirus spreading to very high, the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University of Kielce decided to suspend the visits and arrivals of students, doctoral students and employees to/from countries listed in the communique of the Chief Sanitary Inspector of 03/04/2020 i.e. China, Hong Kong, Iran, South Korea, Japan and Italy. The decision is valid from March 4, 2020 until further notice.
Bearing in mind the safety of mobility participants, we would like to inform you that students of the Jan Kochanowski University currently staying at Italian universities who will decide to shorten their stay and return to the country will receive the support of the staff of the International Relations Department.
Students, doctoral students and employees of the Jan Kochanowski University, as well as participants of the academic exchange from foreign universities can count on psychological assistance provided at the Crisis Intervention Center, Śląska 11A at the phone number 41 349-78-78.
At the same time, we remind you of the recommendations to take all available precautions and to be vigilant. If a student is quarantined due to observation aimed at excluding coronavirus infection (COVID-19), their absence from classes should be considered justified.
Please note that for preventive purposes, containers with disinfectant fluid have been installed at the university.
Due to the dynamic development of the situation, we recommend following the applicable safety procedures and following the messages of the Chief Sanitary Inspector, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the World Health Organization (WHO), the European Commission and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
