The WINDOW TO THE WORLD - integrated programmme of JKU in Kielce for the development of the Świętokrzyskie region, co-financed from funds of the European Social Fund as part of the 'Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020' Operational Programme, Priority Axis III Higher education for the economy and development, Measure 3.5 Comprehensive programmes of higher education institutions on the basis of agreement no. POWR.03.05.00-00-ZR24/18 concluded with the National Centre for Research and Development.
Project period: from 01.09.2019 to 31.08.2023.
Project objective
Improvement of quality, efficiency, accessibility and functioning of the education system at Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce through the development and implementation of an Integrated Development Programme, in line with the RSI of the Świętokrzyskie voivideship
The project will include the following modules:
- programmes of education,
- enhancing students' competences through certified training courses, workshops, additional practical tasks, study visits to employers, students' participation in activities resulting from the university's cooperation with employers,
- trainee programmes,
- doctoral studies,
- enhancing the teaching competences of academic staff.
Target group
The project will address JKU students of the first and second cycle studies and uniform master's degree studies, doctoral students, didactic and administrative staff, management and executive staff of JKU.
The project will result in:
- modification of curricula in 10 fields of study,
- modification of the curriculum of doctoral studies in the discipline of Public Health
- strengthening the competences expected by employers by 395 students,
- scientific development support for 6 doctoral students,
- support in the training process for 15 members of the teaching staff,
